Two lovely recipes with chestnuts

 

I tend to mass purchase chestnuts when they are discounted after Christmas. It seems it’s only this time of year I use them, so I’m always looking for recipes that include them. The lentil and chestnut soup is a recipe I have made for so many years now, and I can’t believe that I haven’t posted the recipe before now. The sausage recipe I found on the Goodfood website, it’s similar to a sausage sauce recipe I have made a few times before, but the addition of chestnuts  added something really special.
